Privacy Policy
This page explains how OrbitDefender handles information, including gameplay preferences stored on your device and optional rewarded advertising.
1. Who we are
OrbitDefender is a mobile game published by Loris Ducroux (“I”, “me” or “my”). This Privacy Policy applies to the OrbitDefender mobile application.
2. Information we handle
Information stored locally on your device
OrbitDefender stores some data locally on your device so the game can function properly and remember your progress and preferences.
- Game settings such as music, sound effects, haptics and display preferences
- Tutorial completion state
- Privacy-consent choices
- Cosmetic unlocks, selected skins and coins
- General gameplay progression and local save data
OrbitDefender does not require you to create a user account in order to play.
Information processed by advertising technology
OrbitDefender uses Unity Ads / LevelPlay for optional rewarded advertisements. When ads are used, Unity and its advertising partners may process information such as:
- IP address and approximate region derived from it
- Device and operating-system information
- Advertising identifiers or installation identifiers where permitted
- Ad impressions, clicks, completed views and reward events
- Fraud-prevention, performance and diagnostic information
3. Advertising
OrbitDefender contains optional rewarded ads. Ads are not required to start the game or to enjoy the core gameplay loop.
Rewarded ads may be offered for features such as reviving after a run, receiving extra coins, or opening a reward chest. If you accept personalized advertising, relevant data may be used by advertising providers to tailor ads. If you refuse personalization, non-personalized or contextual ads may still be shown when allowed by law and platform rules.
Unity's player privacy information is available here: Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy .
4. Your privacy choices
The game includes privacy controls that let you choose whether to allow personalized advertising. Where applicable, you may also choose options related to ad privacy and data sharing preferences.
Refusing personalization does not remove the optional ad system entirely: it simply means ads should be requested in a non-personalized or contextual manner whenever possible.
You can change your privacy choices later from the in-game settings or privacy screen.
5. Sharing of information
We do not ask you to submit personal-profile information directly to play OrbitDefender. Information related to ad delivery may be processed by Unity and its advertising, mediation, measurement, anti-fraud and service partners to provide rewarded ads, measure performance and comply with legal obligations.
6. Data retention
Local game data remains on your device until it is replaced, cleared, reset by the app, removed through device settings, or deleted when the application is uninstalled.
Advertising-related information handled by third-party providers is retained according to those providers' own privacy policies and legal obligations.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures appropriate to a mobile game to protect information under our control. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Children's privacy
OrbitDefender is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal contact information directly through the game.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have privacy rights such as the right to access, correct, delete or restrict certain processing of personal information, as well as the right to withdraw consent.
